Ken McCauley began farming in the 1960’s while still in high school. He began farming full time in 1970. Ken and Mary were married in 1972 and moved to the home on the family
farm they still occupy today near White Cloud. At that time they farmed with Ken’s dad, Stanley McCauley. Later his two younger brothers, Bill McCauley and Bob McCauley joined
the family farm operation, and they continued to operate together until Stanley retired in 1991.

At that time Ken, as well as his brothers, each ventured into their own separate farm operations. Ken and Mary are the parents of 2 children. Daughter Traci is married to Mike
Biesemeyer—they have 2 children, Nicholas and Hunter and live in Liberty, MO. Traci is a grain merchandiser for ADM in Kansas City, KS, and is involved with the family farm and grain production as well. Son Brad is married to Danyelle. They live in rural White Cloud, and Brad joined the family farm operation upon his graduation from Kansas State University in 2001.

Our farm operation employs one full time employee, Nick James. Nick is a 2004 graduate of Kansas State University and has been with us nearly 2 years.

In addition to farming full time, Ken is very actively involved in the Corn Growers Associations, both in Kansas and on the National level. He serves on the Kansas Corn Commission and is a director on the board of the National corn Growers association.

Ken was recently elected as President of the National Corn Growers Association. He is currently serving as First Vice President and will begin his term as President in October, 2006. After his year as President he will be chairman of the board of directors of NCGA the following year.

Successful farming.
